Rainbow Lodge is a turn of the century historic lodge situated along the Yuba River on Donner Summit, right off of Hwy 80 and along the historic Old 40 highway. Open year - round, we provide exquisite indoor and outdoor dining, river view rooms, and a peaceful mountain setting. Seeking the perfect setting for your corporate retreat or group meeting? Rainbow Lodge expertly handles events as large as 50 people.

Rainbow Water. Whether you are dining or staying the night at the lodge, you will be enjoying the fresh, natural Artesian spring water served at Rainbow Lodge. This water fills every glass and bath tub in the lodge. The water is pulled from deep in the surrounding granite and provides our guests with a perfect refreshment.

Outdoor Fun. Easy access to thousands of miles of outdoor terrain - summertime hiking and biking, excellent fishing, and short drives to all Truckee and Tahoe have to offer. Winter enthusiasts will enjoy the easy access to Donner Summit skiing, and our easy location means you are closer to home. 5 minutes from the Loch Leven Hike,15 minutes from Sugar Bowl downhill skiing, easy 10 minute drive to access to the Royal Gorge cross country ski trails
