Cross Country Skiing

Royal Gorge is located  just 9 miles East of Rainbow Lodge. Royal Gorge offers rentals, lessons, kid's camp and a cafe. After your breakfast at Rainbow, hop on the trails and explore a few of the 60 trails at the resort. Visit www.royalgorge.com for details.

Snow Shoeing

A stay at Rainbow Lodge means easy access to back country terrain. If you aren't feeling up for a solo exploration, head to Royal Gorge. The resort provides rental gear and snowshoe trails. Pack a lunch and head out to one of the warming huts for the day.
